The Founders

Jeanette B. Milio and Jim Milio

PIP Media's founders Jeanette and Jim Milio produced over 600 hours of award-winning film and television content to date, which is seen all over the world and distributed via major studios, leading network stations, and global streaming platforms in over 80 countries.

In November 2023 the veteran producers Jim and Jeanette Milio launched PIP Media,  a 501C3 non-profit film and television production studio set up to create content that elevates the human consciousness with audiences of all ages, ethnicities, and genders, all over the world. 

The PIP Media production studio focuses on scripted and non-scripted content that entertains, educates, and elevates the audience, celebrating authentic voices, soothing visuals, and mind-opening stories.

Founders & Mission

Jeanette B. Milio and Jim Milio

The 501c3 non-profit company PIP Media was founded in 2023 by veteran producers Jeanette and Jim Milio, who have realized over 600 hours of award-winning film and television content to date, with Academy Award winners in front and behind the camera. Their projects, including "Dog Whisperer," "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," "Rescue911," and "The Experiment" have been distributed worldwide via major studios, leading network stations, and global streaming platforms in over 150 countries.

 

PIP Media is a film and television production entity set up to promote and create content that both entertains and initiates a positive after-effect, with the potential to elevate the human consciousness to audiences of all ages, ethnicities, and genders, all over the world. 

 

The PIP Media production studio focuses on scripted and non-scripted content that entertains, educates, and elevates the audience, celebrating authentic voices, compelling visuals, and mind-opening stories.

Board Member

Scott Elias

Scott Elias is a veteran film and television content producer. who has worked with notable award-winning directors including Pual Verhoeven, Francis Ford Coppola, Tony Scott, Michael Apted, Terry Gilliam, Forest Whitaker, Jean-Francois Richet, Mimi Leder, and Shawn Levy.

His credits include "Two Weeks Notice" (Hugh Grant, Sandra Bullock) and "Music & Lyrics" (Hugh Grant, Drew Barrymore); Comedies like "My Cousin Vinny" (Joe Pesci and Marissa Tomei); Action films like "Plane" (Gerard Butler) and "Unstoppable" (Denzel Washington and Chris Pine); Sci-Fi movies like "Free Guy" (Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer) and "12 Monkeys" (Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt); book adaptations such as "A Time To Kill" (Matthew McConaughey and Samuel L. Jackson), "Ya-Ya Sisterhood" (Dame Maggie Smith, Ellen Burstyn), and the recent Netflix limited series "All The Light We Cannot See" (Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie). He has been nominated for both a DGA Award and a PGA Award for the series, which was filmed entirely in Europe. 

 

Scott has filmed throughout North America and Europe and has scouted locations in Asia. He is known as a creative Producer with the pragmatic abilities to deliver any sized project on-schedule and on-budget.

With a distinguished history of owning and managing acclaimed galleries across Asia, Europe, and the United States, Betty Bui has cultivated a reputation for her discerning eye and keen understanding of the evolving art landscape. Standing at the forefront of the art world as a prominent art dealer, she works with blue-chip masterpieces and emerging talents. Betty curates content that represents the essence of each artist's work, unraveling the layers of inspiration that elevate each piece, and bridging the gap between creators and appreciators on a global scale. Her interest in art expands into the film and television world, where she invests in worthy content, that entertains and inspires audiences around the world.

Maria Voltaire
 Philanthropist,  Producer

Maria Voltaire

Maria Voltaine has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and works closely with grant-awarding foundations.

Having relocated to the USA at the tender age of 3 from Tornio, Finland, Maria's passion for music and the arts blossomed early on when she achieved recognition as a recording artist at EMI Music Finland.

Over the past decade during her work in the non-profit sector, Maria has successfully managed and implemented numerous projects, ranging from fundraising campaigns to community outreach initiatives.  Maria worked for the largest Finnish-American Grants-awarding foundation, Finlandia Foundation National, for nearly 9 years.

In addition, Maria served on the board of directors for Personal Involvement Center (PIC), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing vital services to children and families in South Los Angeles, which focuses on empowering and uplifting these communities, working closely with the California Governor’s office, the Departments of Mental Health, Social Services, Children and Family Services.

Maria currently works on a television documentary series about the health and other benefits of various kinds of saunas originating from Northern Europe.

Salvy Maleki and Mark Dayoub

Salvy Maleki and Mark Dayoub are the founders of Pathbender Media Holdings, LLC, a media company established at Sunset Gower Studios with principals who share over 30 years of experience in media, management, finance, technology, and marketing.  The team provides access to finance and distribution of content.

Salvy Maleki has over 15 years experience in Development, Production, Finance, and Distribution of Film, TV, Animation, Live Events), and has established relationships with media companies in China, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. She successfully launched lGDC Digital Services as well as GDC
Digital Cinema Network USA, a Hong Kong corporation, and former Carlyle Portfolio Company in North America. Salvy's credits include "Alien Resurrection"(Sigourney Weaver), Roland Emmerich's "Godzilla," "Stuart Little" (Geena Davis), and the MARVEL animation "What If." Salvy is a Member of PGA, WIE and WIA.

Pathender Media's Co-Founder Mark Dayob


Prior to establishing Pathbender Media Holdings, Mark worked for Boston Private Bank's “EMS" (entertainment, media, sports). Mark produced numerous Media Showcases under his marketing agency DB3, which were covered by Getty Images, E! Entertainment, LIFE magazine, Flaunt magazine, US Weekly, People magazine, Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, The
Wrap, Produced By the official magazine of the PGA, and others.

Susanne Bohnet
 Producer, Financier, Director, Distributor

Susanne Bohnet

Susanne Bohnet is a producer, financier and distributor of feature films. Before launching her distribution entity Serafini Releasing in New York, Susanne was the managing director of the U.S office of Equity Pictures where she initiated and oversaw strategic partnerships with U.S producers, negotiated deals with financiers and talent, supervised physical production, while handling the day-to-day operations on behalf of the media fund. During her time with Equity Pictures, the company’s annual investments grew from USD $30 million in 2002 to USD $250 million in 2004. Ms. Bohnet worked with Equity Pictures on films with budgets between USD $2 million and USD $80.
Her credits include "Matador" (Pierce Brosnan), "Hostage" (Bruce Willis), "New York, I Love You" (Shia LaBeouf).

When Susanne launched the theatrical distribution company Serafini Releasing she distributed commercially viable content with a focus on traditionally underserved audiences, as well as content for GenZ demographics in the US and abroad.
The musical "Bazodee" marks Serafini's first musical with enormous critical acclaim. "16 Bars" a Rap film, featuring Trippie Redd, Styles P, Chinese Kitty, and notable actors is the next scheduled theatrical release.

Loranne Turgeon
 Producer

Loranne Turgeon

Loranne Turgeon is a feature film producer who was trained under Clint Eastwood, working on such films as the Academy Award-winning "Unforgiven" and the critically acclaimed feature "In the Line of Fire". Her credits furthermore include "A Perfect World" (Kevin Costner), "I am Number Four" (Timothy Olyphant),  "The Matrix" and "The Matrix Resurrection" (Keanu Reeves), and the Netflix series "Sense8" created by the Wachowski siblings.

Loranne further explored the world of animation under DreamWorks Animation's, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg on such films as "The Prince of Egypt,""The Road to Eldorado,""Shreck," and "Spirit." Loranne currently develops film and television content based on renowned literary IP.
